This mini series had the perfect amount of episodes. A very gritty, visceral, adventurous exploration of how the American West was born and the collisions of progress, capitalism, religion, American military & Native Americans. I really enjoyed the thoughtful camera angles and cinematography and the commitment to showing that there’s nothing romantic about this time in history.
Synopsis
A mother and son fleeing from their past form a found family while confronting a harsh landscape of freedom and cruelty in the American West.
